doctor fish

Undoubtedly, the Fish Spa experience that my friend Amaury and I had while we visited Manila Ocean Park is fun and to be considered worth the trip. It definitely gave us an amusing feeling at first when the fishes started to feed gently upon the loose skin, removing it in a not unpleasant ticklish manner. It was on a timed 20 minute session but it felt like it was forever when we have relaxed after the fishes started to nibble. Then after the whole therapy, we felt total exfoliation on the dead layers of the skin cells. What a way to relax! And as we left the area, we mumbled "one day we will come back for this!"

But wait, as I was about to post this I also thought about the downside of this therapy. Having the the fish clean off the dead skin of the legs and feet can be a relaxing experience, but there may be also be a risk of serious infection."A customer steps into the spa water and if, unfortunately, he or she happens to have an infectious wound, the infection can definitely spread to other people who step into that very same spa tank..It's both the fish and the water that could cause infection. Nevertheless, it was some kind of experience...
